Autumn  duration:10′

 

Autumn was inspired by the fields just beyond our local station, that I used to pass on the train every day, going into college…. one particular autumn morning, they were enveloped in a beautiful early Autumn morning mist. morning, gentle autumn mist……

The piece has a wistful feel, with solos throughout, and concludes with a lengthy expressive violin solo… the heart of the piece..…
