Father in Heaven  (2’ 45”)

A short setting of The Lord’s Prayer.  There is one addition to the traditional words of the Lord’s Prayer; there is a reference to “still small voice of calm” towards the end. I am pointing this out, because while it is very suitable for a church service, there may be some who would not wish the addition of any words within the setting of the Lord’s prayer. They are meant, however, to be a quite and thoughtful reflection on God’s presence by the singer as they sing the setting of the traditional words, to remind us of God’s quiet presence, as we listen toHis word.

Vocal range: A, below middle C to C sharp above middle C. Majority of tessitura Bb – G (around middle C.)
