A little fun background to the book…

Noisy Rabbit Goes To The Beach has been such fun to create! A mascot bunny, who travelled in my bag to the beach with me, soon became famous on a Cornish beach, as both myself and my husband took copious photos one year on holiday to illustrate the story. I began somewhat furtively, not wanting t be too conspicuous (well, an adult photographing a toy rabbit floating in a Rockpool would surely engender some strange looks?!) Bit soon we discovered our fears were quite unfounded, as strangers would come up to us saying “are you the people taking photos for a book?”… “can I have a copy when you’ve finished it?” It was delightful, talking to people, and seeing their smiles, as we went about photographing Noisy Rabbit – who, incidentally, loved all the attention!
