Rainbows of Human Emotion
Rainbows of Human Emotion was written during Lockdown, and was inspired by a poem, which was in turn, inspired by a pupil sharing a piece of her artwork via an online piano lesson. The piece was in bright colours, which reminded me of the rainbow as a symbol support of the NHS. The piece reflects upon human emotion, in relation to the seven colours of the rainbow. A copy he poem can be seen in the front of the score.
The piece was played in one of my Lockdown “Concerts Form The Music Room”, at which Delphine, who’s painting had given rise to inspiration for the piece was present. I chatted to her and another pupil online after the concert, and both remarked that this had been their favourite piece, because of its powerful emotional qualities…. “thank you Delphine, for your inspiration.”
As this music was born out of that time, there is no charge for this piece.
