Snow (Treble Choir)
Snow duration: 2’
A miniature piece for treble choir and one line of soprano solo with piano accompaniment, depicting the spirit of snow….. beautiful, soft, delicate. A lovely piece for a Christmas or winter concert.
For Sop1, Sop2 (with a couple of splits within these parts) and alto (occasional split.)
(There is also an arrangement for SAT/B choir.)
I love snow and this piece encapsulates the magic of this etherial white, frozen water…
It began to snow one winters night,
It began to snow one winters night.
And soft falls the snow.
Snow fell softly from the skies;
She came on wings so soft, so soft:
Silence.
It began to snow one winters night,
It began to snow one winters night
And the world was touched by silence.
