Extended Notes

With a subtitle of “Earnest Thoughts on Feeling Insignificant” this piece was written when going through a somewhat depressed period and feeling let down by friends for various reasons. It starts as almost a copy of “A Spiritual Journey through The Oceans of My Mind”, another miniature, but  this time in a minor version. The texture is mostly thin with occasional thick chords – a feeling of saddened anger. Other bars are marked “empty” or “crying”. Towards the end, the relationship of harmony of each bar becomes less and less related, creating a desolate feeling of feeling alone. I wonder how many of us have felt this feeling at some point?
