Description
This tiny miniature for chamber orchestra was inspired by a beautiful November winter walk through Langley Park with a friend. It was a cold, misty day, and not what we had hoped for, but there is beauty in so many unexpected things. As we came up through one of the rides, the mist hung gently poised over the fields, with the sun beginning to come though – I think it was particularly this image and the following walk through the slightly still-misty trees, rafts of sun playing off the remnants of the winter leaves.
