An Irish Blessing (piano) 5

This was originally written as a song, using the familiar text of the “Irish Blessing,” for my friend’s daughter, when she was born. It is very lyrical, with a slightly Celtic flavour. I have left the words on the piano part, as they are an important part of the music, even though now a piano arrangement.

Earlier in the year, I arranged it for piano solo, and performed it in one of my “Concerts from the Music Room” given during Lockdown. You can also hear this piece in one of those “lockdown concerts” on my Youtube channel  suzannemunromusic 

I have also made an arrangement for voice, flute and harp… any of the arrangements would be also ideal for a wedding or Christening as well as performance….
