This is a set of ten pieces for elementary learners (approximately UK grades 1–3)  particularly children. 

Each piece has a descriptive title, such as “Mischievous Moggy”, “Snowy Paws”, and “Christmas Cat” to encourage musical playing. There is a page opposite each piece on which to stick a picture of their own or a friend’s cat as well as a title cover page which has a space for their own picture too. (I have provided a cover for viewing here!)

Some pieces also include descriptions of what the cat is up to, written through the music. 

The pieces use a variety of techniques, the aim of the pieces being to encourage early learners to see that using the appropriate technique can lead to making playing musical, fun and able to convey all sorts moods… whilst having fun!
