Piano Explorer
Piano Explorer is a beginner’s book with a difference! This book encourages beginners to become confident (and happy!) readers, encouraging them to really understand the concept of music reading, whilst having enormous fun, and being creative.
This is a book for the very first lesson, or even before, and takes beginners through to their first book of little beginners pieces.
It is a beginners book with a difference! Read on!….
Do your pupils struggle with sight reading? … or dislike it immensely?
Do you have beginners (and beyond) who struggle to read notes and even find them on the keys?
So did I!!! So do lots of us!… which is why I thought “there must be a better way” which after finding one, meant that beginners could devote more time to listening to their own playing, and in lessons we had more time to devote to technique, listening skills, and everything else to do with general musicianship, other than grinding though pieces where pupils struggled with every note.
I now use this completely different method right from the start and it also works with those who struggle. It seems to produce quite reasonable sight readers (and ones who are fearless and enjoy it!)

Description
Piano Explorer is popular!
Piano Explorer was offered as help to a teacher asking for ideas on a Facebook teaching group. Within an hour, more people asked for a copy… within a few days, I was begin them all over the world: Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Europe, aas well as UK. No less than 76 copies in a few days! I have also shared some of the concepts on such groups, and it’s lovely to get feedback that they really are helping children and other teachers!
