Rain in The City

Rain in the City – Amir Dawoodbhai

This piece was inspired by a sudden torrential downpour during the evening rush hour in the City of London. Commuters in places like Central London are fascinating to watch, akin to a great army of ants on the move. Then, a sudden downpour interrupts this seemingly endless procession. It may only be less than 15 mins but that wall of falling water has emptied the streets leaving a brief moment of calm as the night draws in.
