Chloe – solo piano

This piece was based on a tiny musical idea written by a friend’s grand daughter, who lives in Australia. She was invited to share in a joint project for my own pupils here in the UK: to write music for a musical advent calendar. Chloe had, herself just given up piano lessons, as she was no longer enjoying them with her teacher. She surprised us all, by writing this lovely melody, which I turned into a piano piece, to encourage her.
