Also, shared ideas for teaching...

The more we share ideas as teachers…the better teachers we become…

On these pages, I will share various topics and discoveries I have made over the years of teaching, that help pupils to become confident (and happy!) readers, who have a good knowledge of, and love chords and harmony, plus fun ideas for musicianship training, aural, and improvisation.

Beginner instrumental Ensemble
with EASY, beginners PIANO parts

Young pianists rarely ever get the chance to pay in ensembles in the way non-keyboard instrumentalists do, so this is a chance for them to have that experience, enhancing their counting, their listening and musicianship skills and not least the chance to have fun rehearsing with other players! We have had enormous fun with many of these in the piano lessons and concerts! …and the children have all learnt how to conduct a useful rehearsal by themselves by the end of it too.
